Grief and Loss

Sharing Meals. Finding Comfort. Healing Together.

Grief can be one of life’s most isolating experiences, but you don’t have to carry it alone.

Grief & Loss Fridays is a weekly, peer-led lunch group for adults navigating the loss of a loved one or another significant life loss. It offers a compassionate, welcoming space where people can share a meal, connect with others who understand, and find comfort through genuine human connection.

Unlike traditional grief counseling or therapy groups, Grief & Loss Fridays is not a clinical treatment session. It is a community built on shared experiences, empathy, and mutual support. Whether your loss is recent or occurred years ago, you are welcome to join us exactly where you are in your journey.

There is no expectation to speak or share your story. Some people find healing through conversation, while others simply appreciate the comfort of sitting with others who understand. You are free to participate in whatever way feels right for you.

Every gathering is centered around a shared meal, meaningful connection, and the reminder that healing does not have to happen in isolation. Together, we create a space where compassion, understanding, and hope can grow.

Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely. Eating disorders affect men at nearly the same rates as women, yet men make up only a fraction of those who seek treatment. The stigma is real, but so is the condition. The Munch Bunch was created specifically to address this gap.

If your relationship with food causes you significant distress, affects your daily life, or feels out of your control, it is worth talking to someone about. You do not need a formal diagnosis to join our meals or to deserve support.

Our meals welcome men dealing with binge eating disorder, anorexia, bulimia, ARFID, orthorexia, and any other disordered eating patterns — regardless of whether they carry a formal diagnosis.

No. We are a peer-led community support group. We are not a medical or clinical provider and we do not offer treatment. We do however maintain full transparency about professional resources and will always help guide members toward the appropriate level of care.

We are the first large-scale all-male eating disorder lunch support group of our kind. Our suggestion box format means every meal is shaped by the people in it. No two meals are exactly alike, and every voice in the room has a say in how things run.
